Olympic Torch Relay Anniversary Celebrations - Part 1

Exactly a year ago to the date today on June 26th 2012, the London 2012 Olympics Torch Relay left Doncaster and ended the day in Cleethorpes. En route it went through Scunthorpe, Immingham and Keelby to name a few locations.

The torchbearer on the left is Nick Gregory, a fellow member of my running club, Cleethorpes Athletics Club. There were 8 in our club in total.

At this point in time I thought there was no chance of me being a volunteer at the Olympics, which I applied via the website http://www.london2012.com as had the response no vacancies were available.
