Goodbye, Huntington Stadium! Throughout this year and 2013 I had the privilege of being a “trainee” marksman for the York Summer League as well as it its open meeting for both those years at this track. On 6th September 2014 I was the marksman at this track for the City of York AC Open Meeting for the last time as that Open Meeting was its last event there. It was a nice track, though not brilliant in the rain, where it could be really slippery and was only safe to go on in those conditions when wearing track spikes.
I look forward to being a “trainee” marksman at future City of York AC events at their new track
